One of Singapore's tabloid newspapers reported a tragic case - A 23 year old Filipino ladyboy had stabbed her 46 year old Australian lover.
He was injured to such an extent that he was on life support for 2 days: he was wounded on his left chest, left arm, face, and left eye.The reason he was stabbed was that he changed his relationship status, with the ladyboy,on facebook from engaged to single.
Why he did it is yet unclear but what is clear is that the ladyboy took deadly serious action to stab somebody I assume she loved. The rage that must have been in her had to be immense. Perhaps she sacrificed other relationships, perhaps her source of income (I assume she was a working girl). Details will only be known when she appears in court.
The reaction from some local ladyboys was that the man deserved it as many men they experienced took relationships casually and were selfish. Some men experienced surprise - "What's the problem? It was only on facebook!".
Yes, facebook! For many ladyboys, facebook is an important part of their life. On average, ladyboys I know have around three hundred friends on average and those that have a relationship, are seen to be the lucky ones and are the envy of their less fortunate friends. So to lose your partner and on top of it to let all your friends (and enemies) know is a double whammy.
So do be careful, relationships can be taken seriously.

If you happen to be in Club Romeo at Orchard Towers and wanted to buy a ladyboy a drink, the picture on the left is what you would get for thirty Singapore dollars. (about US$24)- White wine served in a plastic flute glass. The draft beer was seven Singapore dollars. (S$12 after happy hours). The company, the main thing you guys would want to know, was warm initially but cold towards the end. I couldn't understand that attitude. So basically that's the last time I buy her a drink. (And I do know her reasonably well incidentally)
I have no time for people like that and neither should you, be the customer, entertain people like that. Go buy somebody else a drink or go upstairs to Crazy Horse - the drinks are much cheaper and overall the people, ladyboys, girls and the staff are friendlier.

I always get a good laugh when I see some definitions about ladyboys and shemales.
The classic one came from Yahoo answers - "shemale has breasts well developed and a penis and a ladyboy is a boy with vagina". OMG, if that isn't the most ridiculous answer, I don't know what is!
So lets get things straight - Taken from the Urban Dictionary - "It is usually a genetic male, who has taken female doses of estrogens (premarin, estrofem) to become biologically female in all aspects except that she still has a penis and testicles instead of a vagina, uterus, and ovaries.
They do not get breasts from breast implants, but from female doses of estrogen. They sometimes get implants to augment the breasts that they have gotten from taking estrogen. Their gender identity and expression is female. Most gay guys dont like them, but bi-curious "straight" males tend to like them."
The term ladyboy and quoted from the Collins dictionary says "a transvestite or transsexual, esp one from the Far East"
The term ladyboy was originally used to refer to Thai transsexuals but slowly got used when referring to transsexuals from the Far East.
So there you have it! I hope that settles it once and for all.

On the one hand I sometimes think I should have shut up. Who am I to tell people what to do? That's their problem.
But on the other hand, if I didn't say something, am I doing the right thing? Would you tell a friend that something is wrong with his or her behaviour if it means they will get angry? Well, I would. I think that if it is better for that person in the long run then we all should. ,
But, I am truly sorry if anybody out there is angry.

Ladyboys Move On to a Better Life

This year has been eventful - A total of six ladyboys I know well have come out of the P4P business and settled into new jobs and new lives.
Gone are the days of working overnight, wondering where their next dollar will come and enduring the ups and downs of their previous jobs.
From Thailand one has met her mate and will settle in Australia, another, a beautiful ladyboy who has a great personality, has gone into the cosmetics line and possibly another will start to rear pedigree dogs.
From Malaysia, one who used to ply her trade at Singapore's Rowell Road and then went on to Dubai and Paris as an escort has started a catering business in Kuala Lumpur.
From Singapore, one who used to ply Orchard Towers has gone into retail whilst another has found a full time job.
I've not named them because they want to start new lives and it may hinder their progress if I do.
As a monger, I do feel sad, as I've been with a few of them and that will mean my choices are now less.
But as a friend, strange as this may sound, I'm extremely happy as I think all deserve a second chance in life. Money will be less but in the long term they will earn more and certainly have better health. Years of the P4P business take a heavy toll - both physically and mentally and I'm sure deep down they realise this.
I wish them all the best in their new lives and I'm sure most of you out there will too!

Okay guys, I've had 3 comments for the previous post.
Let me just clarify something - ladyboy lovers like myself see ladyboys as being girls albeit with a slight imperfection. So something like girls who are maybe really plump, or talk with a lisp or something. So we see ourselves as straight - because it's the feminine beauty that we're attracted to but yet open minded to a degree.
Now, what complicates is that some among us like to be penetrated by a pre-op ladyboy so that takes on a whole new dimension in our opinion. But in spite of that, very few amongst us would make love to a man who is totally masculine.
So, thinking about it, therefore somebody like myself would feel confused just as a normal guy would be hesitant to make any headway with a girl who is known to be a lesbian.
Jim, one of those that commented, said, "there are some Ladyboys who have the same issues that many of us have and that is bisexual feelings". Yes, I would agree with that, but then, especially if you're thinking of some kind of relationship with a ladyboy or girl for that matter - you feel a bit odd and unsure which way she really wants to go. Just as any straight female would feel odd about going with a guy who likes ladyboys.
Coming back to the ladyboy in the first story, and using that argument and if she intends looking for a male partner, she could well have a problem unless deep down she really likes butch lesbians! In the end how do you have it both ways?

Nevertheless, for some twenty odd years my close friends and I have such an arrangement.Say a friend and I were to go to a bar. We would end up with a girl (or ladyboy) each at some point.We would then go our ways with our partner. However, here's where some people get confused - in future, if we ever went back to the same bar we would never pick each other's girl!
We would normally pick the same girl the first time around or somebody different but never the friend's girl!The only time my friend or I would pick each other's companion would be if we stated outright that we didn't want that girl for whatever reason and then she was put on the available list. Orchard Road is Singapore's busiest shopping street. One end of Orchard Road, in the vicinity of the Hilton Hotel, is where you would find a decent selection of upper end ladyboys.They operate mainly around an oldish building called Orchard Towers in 2 bars - Crazy Horse on the fourth level and Club Romeo on the third level.

In the former you could see about a dozen and in the latter about eighteen. These Thai ladyboys start coming in from about 9pm and the idea is, you buy them a drink at either bar and negotiate your price over a drink or two.Incidentally these cost S$18 in Crazy Horse and now $30 in Club Romeo.
They would charge S$200 on average depending on your needs, their mood or what they think they're worth. (Room and taxi not included, usually S$30 for 2 hours plus S$10 for taxi if required)

Your other option would be to come around midnight where free lance ladyboys from Singapore, the Philippines and sometimes even Cambodia or some claim Vietnam would appear.They would strut their stuff on the ground level of Orchard Towers right up to outside a department store called Isetan. Here asking prices are usually more flexible although S$200 seems to be the favourite asking price as well as the room and taxi.

Prices cannot be compared to Bangkok, for example, due to the relatively small number managing to get through Singapore immigration. Generally it's a wise idea to include your preferences whilst negotiating price.Cheers all.

3 simple words - uttered by a Thai ladyboy probably sums up the character of the visiting ladyboys to Singapore. I was chatting with a ladyboy friend one evening and she was sharing some of her experiences. She was recounting how one customer gave her a large sum of money in return for a much longer than usual "long time".*
She described how this customer asked for her services on another occasion but said he could only pay much less this time around, perhaps thinking there was a chemistry and fondness so this ladyboy would agree for much less than normal. So, in her own simple way, she explained to me "Love cannot eat" and translated as "Love is no point, where's the money to eat?"
I suppose it's a very stark reminder to us as customers that the ladyboy's primary purpose in coming here, or to any more developed country, is that they need to earn a living. Now, to be fair, they're in a bit of a dilemma - if they give the impression that they don't like us by way of a sub standard service, we won't take them again or worse, we may resort to writing in some forum of our bad experience which could spell lean times for the ladyboy.
On the other hand, if they go too strong in the hope of repeat business, the customer gets the impression that they're in love with them!
So, it's a tricky thing! They've got to balance it out.
But, if the ladyboy is the one to say the more famous 3 simple words, I love you, to the customer, then it's only natural that the customer gets the wrong impression and they've got themselves to blame!

In response to my post, one of my readers asked a question - How I do know when to get off the ride? In other words, when to leave your ladyboy gf.
Well, if for example, you send your gf money every now and then. Suddenly you hit bad times and can't send her money. If she gets really upset and doesn't want to talk to you then clearly that's the time to forget her. People like that think that money grows on trees and do not deserve your love. Clearly she just wanted your money and doesn't care for you.
Another instance of the relationship getting bad is when say, you message them by phone, facebook, whatever - you either don't get a reply or it's like days later. A bad sign and if it keeps up forget it and move on.
There are so many other signs too.
Basically, what I think is this - if the other person doesn't show any interest in contacting you, or says just a few words, in this day and age when mobile phone charges are so low, you can safely say their interest in you is on the way down.
The important thing is, don't get upset or think of getting even - their turn will come - sooner or later. Other opportunities, in my opinion, will come your way.

Taking the Leap

Yes, the Leap. I mean making friends with a ladyboy. It's an interesting concept that's worth exploring and not frightening as some might think.
Many years ago, I started off by making use of their "services" but slowly I realised I knew a few and starting having longer and longer conversations with them. The few became many and now this could well be a hundred. So what happened?
I find their stories fascinating - funny, sad and sometimes amazing. The fact that they're "mixed" gendered means they can look at a situation from both sides. On the feminine side they're pre-occupied with the latest perfume or fall head over heels with a famous singer or movie star. On the masculine side they're more decisive when shopping - they usually know what they want and go straight for it.
Then you add on the fact that they're generally treated as "abnormal" by society and that's when the sad side kicks in.
And yes the funny side, aside from the usual jokes, some throw in their "work" experiences which always adds spice.
And there's more - they make for very loyal friends that will support you if you're down. And I could go on and on...
But I did make a mistake, sadly, by thinking I could go all the way with one only to discover some four months ago that it was all a charade. So go ahead and make friends with them, you'll enjoy the ride, but just remember when to get off.

If you are treated well then do the same. But after you have treated them well and if you find they are arrogant or just indifferent then just ignore them. If you give them too much attention, it tends to get to their heads - they think they are the only ones around. In reality they are not - there are hundreds around who are more than happy with your business or friendship, whichever the case may be.
Getting angry and upset solves nothing. Maybe there's a reason. Just go your way. This is not harsh nor is it being rude like some of them.

Medical check ups

Do ladyboys go for check ups? It's a common question - but usually an answer is not forthright. But in the interest of at least saving a life - I will answer it.
The answer is usually NO. Sorry, if I've ruined somebody's business, but that's the truth.
Ladyboys throughout South East Asia are not obliged by any law to go for check ups and hence the risk of contacting HIV or other STDs are very high.
The only ones that I know go for check ups are the post op ladyboys that operate in Singapore's designated red light areas of Petain Road and the alley between Rowell/Desker Road. There are some lounge owners in Thailand that insist their ladyboy employees go for check ups like the Cocktails and Dreams lounge in Phuket. Also, to be fair, there are some sensible ladyboys that insist on condoms being used.
However, these instances are few and far between.
So, in short, put it on! Yes, the feeling isn't as good but the anguish and painful death that accompanies some STDs don't make it worthwhile.

Two Hundred!

Amazing! The previous post was my 200th! Never did I imagine when I first started this blog, on the 24th of September 2007, that I would reach this far.
It first started out as a place where guys could get information about P4P ladyboys. What they were, where they did their trade, how much they charged, what kind of service you got and so on. Later I realised I had to also include some stuff for ladyboys, some people in relationships and of course - something very important to me - ladyboys that succeeded outside prostitution.
I must thank all my friends, both guys and ladyboys for the information they gave me whilst chatting in person, via messages, e-mail and comments from this blog. I wouldn't have reached 156,000 hits from 171 different countries in less than 4 years.
I have just a few messages -
To Thai ladyboys - be more open, so often I've been left bewildered by your actions. Learn to come out of your shell and for goodness sake, try and learn more English - it'll make life so much easier.
To Malaysian ladyboys - learn more English too, you're better than the Thais here but you can learn lots from the service they give.
To Singapore ladyboys - you've got it all, get out of the country, learn something from some of your Malaysian and Thai sisters to be more adventurous.
To the guys - read more! Look around more! A lot of information can be found by reading blogs, forums etc.
Lastly, over the years many people did not like the way I wrote my blog. It was too frank, too open. Well sorry if I offended anybody. I may have lost some friends on facebook this way but many of us need a reality check.

Why ladyboys?

Why ladyboys indeed? Basically ladyboys are males that feel that they are females trapped in a male's body. Society in general, even in Thailand where they are common, has a difficulty in understanding them because they fall into neither of the two recognised sexes.So the ladyboy does what she can to imitate the female form through their attire, surgical enhancements for their breasts, buttocks, hips, face and of course the final act: the vargina.This, of course, costs a lot of money, something like US$10,000 in total is usual. The unfortunate part is that becuase of their unusual sex they are discrimated and usually resort to selling their bodies to get the female form.
On average, if you were to compare having sex with ten genetic girls and ten ladyboys, something like seven ladyboys would provide better sex. Why? In spite of their hormone intake, there is still a little of the male's eagerness for sex in the ladyboy. On top of that, they realise that they have to compete with real females and are willing to put in extra effort in satisfying a customer. Lastly, since they are still male (to a point) they understand another male's sexual needs better than a female can. In the space of a week, three ladyboys of different nationalities said they were looking for a relationship. All three are good lookers. One could even qualify as a model. So what's their problem? Shouldn't be difficult should it?

It’s always at the back of the mind of a ladyboy. To stay single or be a couple.

To the newbie, yes, they’re like regular girls...they need love too.

Buttt....it’s a little complicated. The thing is, part of them are still guys, so there is this natural need to go out and look for a partner or sometimes partners. Unlike real girls whose urges are not as strong as males. So in a relationship, things can be tricky if the male hormones start acting up.

2011 - What might happen in Singapore

First, compliments of the season and a Happy New Year to all guys and ladyboys out there. Thanks for the support - you've been great this past year with your comments and assistance.
So...2011...almost all experts say the economy is going to be good. Well, so far, so good.
The good news for ladyboys is that there should be a steady and increasing number of customers - but they're now better informed and experienced. More guys have tried going to Thailand and Malaysia and much more locals are signing up to forums and blogs and exchanging information. The number of first timers are increasing and more guys are coming out in the open looking for our fairer friends. So overall good news on the local front.
But for the non Singaporean customers expect fewer Europeans as their currency weakens and their spending decreases leaving just the Aussies, Koreans, Japanese and some form neighbouring countries to be the main spenders here.
Japanese and Koreans are already the best customers in Bangkok's bars by the way.

For the guys, expect more ladyboys to come in as airfares remain stable and the Singapore dollar remains steady. At Orchard Towers, expect new faces as some of the established ones seek careers outside the P4P sphere or try their luck in new places. Geylang could make a resurgence as long as the local ladyboys establish some sort of consistancy in their timing. Don't be surprised to find Thai ladyboys making a re-apperance in small numbers here.
As for Rowell expect a few faces from Thailand (as usual) and more from Sarawak coming here. There are dozens of ladyboys in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak by the way and many want to make the trip via KL.
I'm no pro in Changi Village, but looking at the way things turned out this year, I would expect a few new faces coming on the scene.

I've been hanging around ladyboys for around 20 odd years. I know ladyboys from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and of course the Philippines. Nothing to brag about - there are a number of people like me.
Anyway, after such a long time you begin to realise that they can be extreme - sometimes extremely friendly, nice, sweet and hilarious. Really great fun to be with.

Cheat a customer today and most of the customers out there will know about it tomorrow. If you want extra, be nice to the guy, tell him business is slow if you give him more time can he top up a bit? You never know, some guys won't mind.
Don't rush the customer. That's one sure way he won't come to you again. Yes, yes, I know, some people take forever. So tell the guy nicely, sorry but you know I need to cover my costs, just sorry or some bullshit. Just make the guy feel a bit happy.
Don't be lazy! Answer your e-mail and sms messages. In nornal business, customers are used to checking their mail three, four times a day to answer their businees clients. When you don't answer or take your time it tells the customer you don't want his business. He'll just take somebody else. Ya a lot of guys talk rubbish, but does it cost you big money to answer? Who loses?
Read the forums - if you don't know - ask! No PC/laptop? Go to an internet cafe! See what customers are saying. You can also see new trends, where there is new competition. Stay informed, it's big business, you can't stay young forever. Make your money while you can.
Be humble - Don't think that you're beautiful forever. Your own friends will hate you. Be respectful to your older sisters - they can give you advice and help you can't find in any book.
Don't look down on poor customers - people aren't rich or poor forever, the guy that couldn't afford you today could be your best and maybe only customer tomorrow!

Yes they do. Sometimes I have some long conversations with a mix of Thai and Malaysian ladyboys. Since I know then reasonably well, I hear and see some things that usual punters/mongers wouldn't hear.
Here are some examples:
I see a group of ladyboys having some booze before starting work. So, innocently, I ask why. (I would have thought after work to relax) Mind you, these are people that don't normally drink. The answer - to get courage! Courage?
Then it hits me! If you asked me to bonk an overweight lady in her 60s and keep her company for about 2 hours, but you paid me a good sum (US$500 and above) - I'd do it! But - my first trip would be to the nearest 7-11 and not just for condoms but for a half bottle of whiskey for me to get pissed enough so I wouldn't realise what I was doing but not that much that I couldn't perform!
That explains some ladyboys telling me that they hate what they're doing and would rather take a lower paying job - if they could find one!
Another thing I couldn't understand was - you send a message saying such and such but you get a reply saying something totally different. The disturbing thing is, they understand the language! This question has surely been asked dozens of times and in spite of that - it seldom gets answered correctly.
Why? In the first place most people think that since ladyboys are technically still men, especially those who still have their male organs (pre-op), and they like men - therefore they're gay.
Strangely enough this view was even echoed by a Thai male who needed some gay people for a photo shoot or something and said he would get some ladyboys! This shows how misunderstood this is even in a country where there are literally tens of thousands of ladyboys in the population.

Contacting ladyboys - SMS and facebook

Contacting ladyboys can be a tricky business. Firstly, they don't work normal office hours so it means that when we're all relaxing after a hard day's work (or pretending to) they're usually hard at work trying to earn bucks.
If they're working out of a bar, chances are, they probably can't hear their own phones with all the heavy techno music going at full blast. (Actually I'm surprised most are not deaf). However, some have managed.
So the time to get them would be before work, which, depending which country they are in, usually means the afternoon. (i.e. South East Asian time).

An SMS would be the most efficent since calling sometimes means you catch them in the middle of a meal or doing whatever they do, which would need a separate post just to explain. And also since English isn't their first language normally, they could get translation done and hopefully give a response you wanted.

Of course, there is also facebook, which is becoming very popular among Thai ladyboys.
But how do you get these ladyboy's names in the first place? Well, as long as you start with one name, she is bound to have at least fifty ladyboy friends (I know one who has five hundred) and you let it roll from there. Of course, we're assuming here that they will be your friend so make yourself sound good on your info page and at least get some kind of picture to your profile. Otherewise, forget it, you're not going to go very far.

What if the ladyboy doesn't respond? (If she's your friend) Simple, personally I wait 3 days for an answer for a facebook message - if you see her replying to her other friends and not to you, go to your profile page and list your friends then just delete her! If she thinks you're not important and others are, don't waste your time. There are hundreds, I repeat, hundreds, out there!

Don't give them the impression that you're dead set for them - that's when they'll take the upper hand, just play it cool and ask a few questions - your preferences and the price. (But don't be a jerk and ask 20 questions and in the end don't take her.) If it suits you, fine. If not try another.
Don't forget, the money's yours, you're the customer. You're in charge but do be fair, they're still human after all.

My 2 cents of advice - Part 2

Right, the second part, again to the newbie. No matter which country you're aiming for a bonk in, it's always wise to do some homework. It will save you time, money and maybe even make you a few friends.
I'm talking about checking ladyboy forums. In most parts of the world, there are always people who've been through the same situation as you have.
Use a search engine, like Google. Take the trouble to go through the many lists and see what the other guys have to say. Mind you, there are a lot of "keyboard experts" out there so you've got to look out for people who have a reputation for posting accurate reports. Don't take everything as gospel.
Some people who post sometimes have an axe to grind with some ladyboy or they want to make themselves sound more macho and they may not be truthful.

The key advice is, take it all with a pinch of salt.
And don't forget, if you join a forum, don't just ask any old question. It may be new to you but it could have been asked hundreds of times before. So read before you ask or you'll just make the experienced board members upset and they won't answer your question and may even ban you.
Second bit is, check the venue's location out. Don't just go to that particular spot. Sometimes you may find ladyboys who don't work in a particular bar or area but hang around the vicinity. I've lost track of the number of times I've found ladyboys "on the line" hanging around popular spots.

Part 1 - For the newbie
So you've read the forums, maybe heard like minded friends discussing the topic and now...you want to find out more about ladyboys.
First let me say that if you think of them as men dressed up as girls, then you may as well give up and stick to normal chicks.
Ladyboys are a third gender; in fact closer to females than males. They dress and look like girls (some are even prettier) and the main thing is, they think like girls. So bascially, you haven't just got a female trapped in a male body - you have a female trapped in a body which is almost female. And usually, the little masculinity they possess is their willingings for sex. (and er...sometimes a small dick)
So get it out of your head that these are men - they're not. They're are as close to females as you can get.
Treat them as girls and you'll get the most pleasure out of them. And no, you're not gay. Guys that are into ladyboys see them as girls.
So if you want to bonk them, do it exactly as you would with a girl. Of course, you've got to bang the ass instead (if they haven't gone for the operation).
Which brings me to another point, if you can't stand the thought of seeing their dick then ask if theý're pre-op (with a dick) or post-op (after the operation).

It was an outsider perspective—people born in Manila, who were outsiders in the gay community because they are transgendered; outsiders in Israel, because they are illegal; and yet they have a very important place in Israeli society. The director says he tried not to make a sentimental film, apparently he did not want to show them as victims.

Leona Lo is a 35 year Singapore transsexual who's active in the theatre scene both locally and recently in New York. She staged a one person 3 act performance called "The Ah Kua Show".
It's a stage adapation of her autobiography, From Leonard to Leona, A Singapore Transsexual’s Journey to Womanhood, which was first staged in Singapore in August 2009. This year, the play opened at the New York International Fringe Festival in late August 2010.
The point of this being mentioned here is that transsexuals are fully capable of leading "normal" lives and people like Leona are making every effort to make themselves understood to the general public, who by and large, haven't a clue what they're about. Yes, the main thing! I thought this would be the next question on most newbie's minds. Is the sex provided by these lovely ladies in Orchard Towers worth it?
I think the best way to answer this is an analogy about food. You know what a five star restaurant is like. So...I've mentioned previously that the ladyboys in Orchard Towers are street smart. They've been around loads of customers and can gauge pretty quickly what the customer wants. And like any true blue sales person they have an answer ready for almost any question. It's difficult to catch them because they are almost what psychologists call, in a state of "survival mode". And since they've had lots of practice day in and day out over many years, the answers come very smoothly and automatically.
One ladyboy told me that if you're asked a question it has to come instantly - one question one answer.
So how does one handle this? Well, there's a few things that they won't lie about - things that can be found out instantly. For example, if you ask a ladyboy of your choice, are you pre-op or post-op? What is the price?
But, you don't want to ask one ladyboy for another's details - you won't get a straight answer especially if that's not a close friend. It comes back to this close clique thing.
Anyway, don't be overly concerned. These people are for short time fun. Outside of the bullshit they will not rob you or harm you. They have at least that much of a reputation to upkeep and since they work out of either bar and depend very much on that for their income you can rest easy.

The ladyboys at Orchard Towers are a different bunch from the rest that you come across in Singapore. For a start they're all Thai and their main target is the customer who'll pay them S$200 and more for a short time (2 hr) bonk. Of course, if you walk in to Club Romeo (above, on the third floor) for example, they will ask you to buy them a drink (S$22). In turn they will keep you company and try and persuade you to take them to a hotel for you know what. (Short term hotels are from S$20 to S$30 for 2 hours).
The main question usually is, is it worth it? Well, relative to the beauty of the ladyboys in Singapore and the time they spend on you - it's the going price.Granted, early in the week, if business is slow, some may accept say S$150.
They're not young as you would get in Phuket or Bangkok these are in their late twenties and even early thirties but most don't look their age and most are very attractive. So you're dealing with ladyboys who are streetwise and are no fools. Nevertheless, to avoid a misunderstanding always state your intentions. If you're there for a drink say so. Buy them a drink and/or slip them a small tip S10/S$20 and most would be grateful. The next time you come you'll be remembered.

If you're bringing them for a bonk, state your preferences, pre-op (before the operation, still with a dick) or post-op, (after the operation with a pussy). Are you the top (you bonk the ladyboy) or the bottom (the ladyboy bonks you)? Lastly agree on the price before you set out. Don't try and be a smart ass and say things like, "I know the price is $200 so why ask?". You asking for trouble. As I said, these people are street smart, some may turn around and say "My usual is S$300, $200 I don't take".
So essentially that's it. Next time maybe I'll talk about the next step when you get more familiar with them.

I just had to post this - just after I posted the last article I had fresh information!

I had a chat with my a buddy the other day and he brought up the issue of ladyboys and witchcraft.

He told me he was quite taken by a ladyboy and wondered whether she had put a spell on him! In a flash, I said he was probably more taken by her body than anything supernatural.

However I must admit, you cannot rule it out.

Generally in South East Asia, it had been known to be practised up until the present day although in the last decade it seems to have lost it’s popularity.

In the 70s and 80s it was very common to hear of people going to their favourite “witch doctor” or “bomoh” in the Malay language, for help in their jobs, sickness and of course, their love life.

In the case of Malaysia and Singapore, for example, the “clinic” would normally be on a mat on the floor and the “patient”” would witness the “doctor” chanting over a basin of water and telling the person his or her fortune. He would then prescribe the “medicine” which could be in the form of an oil which had to be applied and a few words usually, in a sort of verse, chanted.

In return the “doctor” would be paid about US$10 and sometimes given things in kind like uncooked rice or sugar. The witch doctors were very popular then amongst the bar girls who used these charms to lure customers and it would seem that the spells worked judging by the success that some had.

Similar variations exist in Thailand and Cambodia. Sometimes pendants were used or even witching powder which was discreetly put into a customer’s glass.

However in this day and age where they, Thais especially , seem more reverent, it’s less likely that they would use such things as I understand it clashes with their conventional prayers.

But there again in any religion you do get deviants.

Club Romeo's Ladyboy Put Down

Club Romeo, one of the 2 ladyboy bars in Singapore was telecasting a live World Cup match.

My friend and I went in early for good seat. Since my regular ladyboy was not in town, it meant nearly 2 hours of watching football and in between, what went on around us.

Behind us, it was the usual thing, a customer would walk in and almost instantly, he would be encircled by no less than a dozen smiling ladyboys all standing about a metre away, hoping that he would he ask for one of them for company and the “usual”. We saw this being repeated a number of times as a new customer walked in.

However, one customer, I thought, was really something. He came early and chatted up a slim ladyboy at the bar. He was persuaded to buy her a drink by the bartender and chatted with her for a while. Then suddenly, he turned and started chatting with another ladyboy behind him leaving the first one stranded. In the end, he ended up doing this with four ladyboys and all four were almost “held to ransom” all because, I believe, one of them thought they would get lucky and end up at least, with a “short time” deal.

After an hour, nothing transpired! Ultimately, he may have made a decision and taken a ladyboy or two. But, my point is, I thought he made a monkey of them. He basically dangled a banana in front of them and later pulled it away.

I thought that wasn’t right. Yes, this may be the ladyboy’s “profession” and these experiences come with the territory, but they’re human beings at end of the day. Didn’t they deserve some consideration?

During that hour they could have looked for other customers, had a meal, gone to the toilet or surely done something more productive than keep this guy company. And if my eyesight served right, only one ladyboy got a drink.

I’ll let you guys decide whether the ladyboys deserved it or the customer was an absolute arsehole.

Am I too hard on ladyboys?

I was talking to an old friend who reads my blog and she remarked that I was very hard on ladyboys. She said I gave the impression that all ladyboys were all out to cheat people and they were basically, heartless and money grabbing!
Well, I'm very sorry if I gave that impression and I have re-read some of my posts. I'm afraid I'm guilty sometimes, although I have to say I've received comments from some readers that what I've said is true.
You see, I'm all about giving a fair deal whichever side you're on. So naturally, I get really cheesed off when I hear of what some ladyboys do. Yes, we do understand the difficulties and those of us that depend on a strict commission as an income may understand this better. However there is always space for the honest deal and behaviour. Asking for a extra bit, exaggerating their abilities, saying they really like you - that's fine. Many salespeople do that anyway!
But downright rip-off's like charging a customer three times the rate, giving only half the time - that's totally way out.
However, I'm glad to say that the ladyboys that I know like Anggun and Maya Lobo from Malaysia, Francine from the Philippines, Becky, the 2 Annie's, Rita, Toei and the sweetheart Jeen from Thailand have been as straight as an arrow in their dealings. Sure, they may bullshit a bit, but it's basically harmless stuff.
So there you have it! I hope that's straightened things out. Any comments?

When we pay a ladyboy for sex why do we do it? The answer normally is - The sex is better as ladyboys are more into it - more enthusiastic etc.
But I think we're paying for better sex initially.
In my humble opinion, the problem starts because we've had a good experience from a particular ladyboy and would like to repeat it. We try others and use the first good experience as a yardstick and find it's not as good and what do we do? We go back to the first ladyboy again and again and again.
And before we realise it, a friendship blossoms. And that's when the problem starts - we begin to believe the ladyboy really likes us and we accept whatever she says as gospel (in spite of reading in forums that we're stupid and in spite of the listening to the lies). Then starts the whole rigmarole of sending money and buying gifts etc and we end up paying for a relationship.
But then at some point the bubble bursts and we realise we've been duped and in a very painful way, both emotionally and financially, we end up paying for expensive sex. Helluva expensive sex.
I must however say that in defence of some ladyboys that they're not all like that and they do it because of the influence of some of their friends and because of hardship.
Would anybody disagree?

Singapore Updates
Changi Village - the scene is quiet we're told. In the middle of May a man and a trans were arrested for doing it in a cab. They were each fined S$800 (abt US$570). Ever since the scene has quietened down.
Rowell Road - still active as ever.
Orchard Towers - Still active but I note an air of gloom amongst some ladyboys. Apparently customers are there but the story is, they're paying less. A number of regular faces are absent, some say because of immigration problems. Nevertheless, new faces have taken their place and the process goes on.
Vicesisters - still popular and new faces from the Philippines are trying their luck.

We still hear of ladyboys at the upper end trying to get away with sub standard or a "mechanical" approach to things. Thankfully, punters are reporting these things and hopefully the "fast buck" lbs will disappear. For more detailed reports try this thread in www.sammyboyforum.com.

So basically, she and I would guess other ladyboys, are looking for security in the form of a husband. Ladyboy Liars - why do they do it?

Off and on this subject pops up on ladyboy forums. Why do ladyboys lie? (I'm talking of those in P4P)
First off, it's not exclusive to ladyboys as girls in the trade are just as good at it. So a lot here applies to them as well.
I've thought about it long and hard, read up a bit and observed many a ladyboy's behaviour.
Usually, it's common to hear - my dad/mum/brother/sister is sick/had an accident/died so I need money.
Or "You are the only one I love", "Last six/seven days I didn't have business", and so on...
So why do they risk getting a bad reputation and tell such obvious lies? Well, I read somewhere that they go into almost a sort of survival mode. Basically, it's when the body goes into a fight or flight response when there's a threat to our survival.
Ladyboys in P4P aren't paid a salary. In the extreme, their next meal could probably be from the next customer. So if that be the case, the lying would come naturally as anyone would pull out all the stops just to get a meal.
Another reason could be because they've tried lying and it worked! So if something works, why not?

Bare back sex has lately become more popular in the ladyboy video world. In the past few months nearly half a dozen sites have appeared. The producers of the videos have claimed that the participants have been tested for HIV/AIDS. That may be so, but what it fails to mention is that detection of the virus is only possible from six weeks to three months after infection. So even if they've been tested they should refrain from any unprotected sex during that period.
But, it would seem that the ladyboys are either so desperate for that bit of cash (they're paid around US$50 per shoot) and the promise that they will also become famous and earn lots of money later on. Or they're totally uninformed or misinformed. Whichever way, they're dicing with a slow and painful death. Arguably there are more new medicines on the market now then say, five years ago, but that doesn't come cheap nor are all that freely available.
Personally, I would never have sex with anybody that took part in a bare-back video or photo shoot. I know that may sound silly as many ladyboys have gone bare-back and would certainly not tell you. But psychologically, it'll be a turn-off for me. I'd rather do without.

The Almighty came to Rowell Road - and I saw him!
It happened one evening. I was feeling the itch and it so happened I was around the lower end of the lb bonking scene in Singapore.
I stopped outside house no. 9. Just before me, a big white guy made his choice and went upstairs.

Later when I thought about it, it was kinda funny and really amazing at the same time. I have witnessed many a time when an lb goes crazy when a white guy appears but this and her subsequent action was beyond belief! Anyway, I'm not mentioning the lb's name simply because she did what I thought was the right thing - she gave me my money back albeit after the drama. This is one I won't forget or a while.

Paramount Shopping Centre is the home of many pubs in Singapore's eastern part. It is linked to Paramount Hotel.
It's not new, similar in age to it's more famous cousin Orchard Towers. There are more than a dozen pubs which operate on a basis of girls serving drinks and hoping you'll buy them a lady-drink, which is on average about S$20, from which they earn a commission. The unique feature of the pubs is that all the girls are Filipinos.
That is until lately, when a few Filipino ladyboys were spotted working in the clubs such as the one in the picture.
Unfortunately, there are no details as to which pub or pubs they're operating from nor what they charge for "services".
So the appeal here is, if anyone can confirm which exact pub they're working from, you will earn the gratitude of many a monger here.
Incidentally about a decade ago this is similar to how the ladyboys first made an appearance in Orchard Towers. First appearing together with girls and then dominating a particular pub. Many amongst us, of course, would like to see that happen sooner rather than later. So please if anybody has information, please pass a comment.

A Sad story to share

This is an amended summarised post written on the 26th of March.
I've been seeing a Thai lb for the last 2 years and things have become very close. To me, I think she's just great in terms of looks and her personality.
Long story short, recently she went back to Thailand and I happened to be around her working place when I met one of her friends.

Cold Hard Facts about ladyboys in Singapore

Guys, I regularly read a number of forums and there are some hard facts I think need pointing out:
1. They are many ladyboys in Singapore. In Orchard Towers there are at least thirty in total. Advertising in vicesisters and craig's list are at least another thirty. At the lower end there are at least twenty in Rowell Road and at least a dozen in Changi Village. So each night you have a total of almost a hundred.
So why do we see people asking to see a particular ladyboy as though she was the only one in the country? If she is not available, or asking too high a price or didn't turn up at the time promised or can't be found - take another! Trust me, in terms of looks, service or attitude there will be at least six others who possess the same qualities! Yes, by all means have a target but it's not the end of the world if you don't get it, is it? This is one of the reasons why some ladyboys act so high and mighty - they think they're the one and only and can you blame them?
2. Some ladyboys advertise themselves on-line for as much as three hundred or even four hundred dollars for a shot.
Clearly they're hoping for some guy who's got cash to splash, needs super privacy and doesn't bother with checking prices. What's the point in asking if they'll go for a hundred? Let's say they agree, do you think you're going to get the same level of service? Do you think they'll bother to be punctual? If they're late do you think they would phone and tell you? Just forget them and go for the ones that ask reasonable prices - $150 or maybe $200. Chat with them and if they're agreeable go for it. If they're late, walk off. You're the boss - it's your money!
3. Pricing - For a $30 ladyboy you get a certain level of service - for $300 do you think you'll get 10 times the service? No way, maybe more privacy, a better bed, bathroom etc , more patient sex, a prettier face/body but at it's best maybe 4 times the service! Is it worth? Rarely! For locals who want the better good service stuff, good looking ladyboy, $200/ 2 hours without room is more than fair.

It's been a while since I last spoke about this. And up to today you still see comments and posts asking why ladyboys behave like they do. So here's my two cents worth (yet again)
First and foremost, most ladyboys, I don't care if they're femboys, pre-op, post-op whatever, they all want to imitate the fairer sex. Why is another story.
But basically they see themselves as females. These adult ladyboys that we come in contact with have all been thinking this way since their formative years, usually before the age of ten. So you get a mindset that is firmly entrenched to think and behave like girls. They scream when they see a cockroach, they want to look beautiful and spend hours dressing up (sound familiar?), most are possessive and they love men.
So if you're at a chatting stage or further with them, treat them like ladies. Buy them small gifts, open doors for them, compliment them (don't overdo it!) and don't be rough with them - mentally they're not guys!
But, point is, if you hope to get anywhere with them, treat them nice.
Yes, I know, the ladyboys will be happy with this post. I know some weren't about my last post! Sorry, I have to provide a balanced view here, can't please everybody.
